In short
Saadiyat Grove is a new district by Aldar Properties in Saadiyat's Cultural District, between the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Zayed National Museum. It combines apartments, townhouses and villas with a shopping and dining center, hotels, offices and walkways that link the museums.
Construction started in November 2019, and the first owners received their keys on November 28, 2025. Parts of the district are still being built, and no apartments here are offered for short stays yet. For a holiday apartment on Saadiyat now, look at Mamsha Al Saadiyat or Soho Square below.
What is planned
- Homes: 3,706 residential units in total, including 170 branded residences. Phases are sold under separate names: Grove Museum Views, the first phase, faces the Louvre and the Guggenheim site; later phases include The Source, with 204 apartments and penthouses, and The Arthouse.
- Shops and food: the Saadiyat Grove retail center, which Aldar calls a lifestyle destination, is planned with more than 100 brands, Time Out Market Abu Dhabi with 16 kitchens, and a cinema.
- Everything else: hotels, offices and wellness spaces.
- The museums: the district is designed so you can walk between the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Zayed National Museum and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, which opens on 11 December 2026.
When it will be ready There is no single completion date: Saadiyat Grove opens in phases. Grove Museum Views began handing over in November 2025, and Aldar says the retail center opens in Q4 2026, with no day announced yet. Later residential phases are still under construction, so treat any date for them as provisional.
