Saadiyat Island map
Saadiyat Island is part of the city of Abu Dhabi, about 500 m off the city's shore in the Arabian Gulf. Road bridges connect it to the city: downtown Abu Dhabi is about 15 min by car, and Abu Dhabi airport (AUH) is 30 km away, about 25 min by taxi. Dubai is about 130 km away, a drive of 1 hr 15 min.
On the island, the museums of the Cultural District, the Mamsha waterfront and the resort beach are a short taxi ride from each other. The resorts line the north shore, from the St. Regis near Mamsha to Jumeirah at the far northeastern end.
