In short
teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi is a digital art museum in the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island, also listed as "teamLab Saadiyat." It was created by teamLab, a Japanese art collective, and opened in April 2025.
There is no set route and no clear border between rooms. The installations use light, water and sound, and they react to visitors: the work changes depending on how people move through it. Some rooms have water on the floor, so you walk through them barefoot.
The average visit lasts about two and a half hours, and there is no time limit inside, but you cannot leave and come back. It suits children as well as adults, with age rules on weekday evenings (see below).

Prices vary by date and time slot, so the same ticket can cost a little more on some days. Open-dated tickets are valid for 9 months from purchase.

teamLab Phenomena is open daily, 10:00–22:00, with last entry at 20:30. From Monday to Thursday, only adults are admitted after 18:00, and the last entry for anyone under 18 is 16:30. Hours can change on public holidays and for events.

Tips
- What to wear. You go into the water rooms barefoot, so wear trousers or a skirt you can roll up to the knee. Bring a change of clothes for children. Lockers for shoes and bags are free.
- Children. Children aged 12 and under must stay with an adult. With under-18s on a weekday, arrive early enough to enter by 16:30.
- Adults only. If you'd rather visit without children around, go Monday to Thursday after 18:00, when only adults are admitted.
- Time. Allow two to three hours. There is no time limit, but no re-entry either, so eat and use the lockers before you go in.
- Combine it. The Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi are in the same district, and teamLab stays open later than both, so it works as the second half of a museum day.

About 25 min by taxi, roughly AED 75 (≈ $20).
From downtown Abu Dhabi
About 15 min by taxi. The electric ART bus AR2 stops at teamLab Phenomena, the Louvre and Saadiyat Walk, every 30 min.
From the Louvre Abu Dhabi
A few minutes by taxi or on the AR2 bus.
