In short
Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas stands on a protected 9 km stretch of Saadiyat Island's coast, where hawksbill turtles nest in the dunes. It has 306 rooms, suites and villas. Every room is at least 50 m² with a balcony or terrace, and every villa has its own plunge pool or private pool.
This is the quiet choice among the five Saadiyat resorts: the draw is space, the beach and good restaurants, including Maté, which is listed in the MICHELIN Guide. Choose it over the St. Regis for larger rooms and villas, and over Rixos if you would rather pay for meals separately than stay all-inclusive. It is the only Hyatt on Saadiyat; the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi is a different hotel, off the island.

Every room, suite and villa is at least 50 m² and has a balcony or terrace. Most of the 306 units are guest rooms; the rest are suites and villas.
- Room: the standard category, with a balcony or terrace.
- Ocean-view suite: a suite with a separate living area facing the sea. Suites come in several types, from Park Suites to the Presidential Suite.
- Villa with plunge pool: Garden View and Beach View Villas, each with a plunge pool on the terrace. Executive Villas have a private pool, and the Royal Villa has two.
Beach & pools
The hotel's beach is part of a protected 9 km strip of coastline. Boardwalks lead across the dunes to the sand.
- Turtles: hawksbill turtles nest in the dunes from March to July.
- Dolphins: bottlenose dolphins are sometimes seen offshore.
- Hot sand: at midday the sand on the way to the water gets very hot, so pack beach shoes.
There are five pools set among palms, including an adults-only pool and a children's pool. Shala Beach Lounge and Vayu Beach Bar serve drinks by the sea.
Dining
The hotel has three restaurants and three bars and lounges:
- The Café: all-day dining with Middle Eastern and international dishes and an open show kitchen. Breakfast is served here.
- Maté: an Argentine grill with Lebanese influences, listed in the MICHELIN Guide.
- The Beach House: Italian food and seafood by the water.
The bars are Shala Beach Lounge and Vayu Beach Bar by the sea, and The Library, which serves tea, coffee and pastries. On Saturdays The Café hosts Brunch at the Park.
Atarmia Spa has nine treatment rooms over two floors, with a sauna, a steam room and a whirlpool.
For kids
Camp Hyatt is free for children aged 5–12 and is supervised by staff. It is open daily 09:30–18:30, with painting, games and a jungle gym.
There is also a children's pool. The sea is shallow near the shore, which makes the beach easy with small children.
